Portmore Jamaica: Car plunges into sea after driver gets seizure, rescued by fishermen [Video]
The passengers of a motorcar escaped death yesterday after their vehicle was run off the Portmore leg of Highway 2000 and into the sea. The Corporate Communications Unit of the police force says the incident happened about 8 o’clock in the morning. It was reported that an SUV and the motorcar were heading towards Kingston when the driver of the SUV suffered a seizure. The SUV ran into the car, which plunged into the sea. Fishermen who were nearby rescued the occupants. The police were unable to say how many people were in the car.
Two killed in crash along Queen’s Highway
Two men lost their lives on the Queen’s Highway at the border of St Ann and Trelawny on Friday evening. They have been identified as Hugh Henry, a mechanic in the parish while the other person the passenger was only identified as ‘Chef’.
